Because of Jesus we have these five gifts to share during the Advent season
Christmas would be just another secular holiday if it were not for Jesus being born in Bethlehem nearly two thousand years ago. Advent is the celebration of the coming Messiah as the Jew awaited the fulfillment of God’s promises. Today, we look forward to the second advent of Jesus. Because of Jesus we can celebrate both Advents as we enjoy the Christmas season.
December 21st: We Have Love
Jesus brings us a love that is everlasting (Luke 2:1-20)
December 24th: We Have Light
Jesus brings us a light that pierces the darkness (Isaiah 60:20)
